Dr Gardezi is a UK board certified Consultant Cardiologist working at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in Cardiology at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr Gardezi has expertise in Heart failure, Cardiomyopathy, Cardiac MRI, Advanced heart failure, Cardiac Transplant and all aspects of cardiovascular disease (CVD) including the diagnoses, management, primary and secondary prevention of CVD. Dr Gardezi has a strong interest in teaching. Having successful completed "Developing learning and Teaching (DLT)" course from Oxford Learning Institute he was awarded “SEDA-PDF Supporting Learning award” by Oxford Learning Institute, University of Oxford. Dr Gardezi has been teaching both undergraduate students and postgraduate trainees for many years at University of Oxford, Kings College London, Imperial College London and at present Khalifa University medical students and as well as the attendees of Royal Society of Medicine training days in London, UK. In recognition of his teaching expertise and contributions Dr Gardezi was awarded membership of the Academy of Medical Educators, UK (MAcadMEd).
