Experienced in a clinical, educational, and multidisciplinary leadership capacity. Pioneered a transplant coordination pathway on a multi-disciplinary level in the role of transplant coordinator as a part of the Liver Transplant & Hepatopancreatobiliary Surgical Unit in a public sector teaching hospital to perform living donor liver transplantation surgeries in Pakistan. Further developed an inter-disciplinary clinical coordination workflow processes involved in the achievement of a successful mechanical heart/LVAD implantation surgery, the first of its kind in the country of Pakistan and Southeast Asia. Experience in educating and implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient care to meet the physiological and psychosocial needs of patient from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds.
