Dr. Shady Hegazi MD, is an Associate Staff Physician in the Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shady received his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt in October 2000, and completed his cardiology residency at Theodor Bilharz Research Institute (TBRI) under The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Giza, Egypt. He received his Master's Degree in Cardiovascular Disease from Ain Shams University, Egypt followed by MD Degree in Cardiovascular Medicine from Fayoum University Egypt. He is currently Lecturer of Cardiology at the Intensive Care Unit in Theodor Bilharz Research Institute in Egypt. He also completed his Hospital Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo in 2012. He is interested in Cardiovascular Imaging and he got training in Cardiac MRI at Kings College London and training in Cardiac CT at Edinburgh University in London, and John Hopkins Medical Centre. Then he got Certified by The Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (CBCCT) since January 2023. He had published several articles and case reports in peer-reviewed journals.
